BMA was awarded a task order on 6 September 2017 under the Army Evaluation Center’s Test and Evaluation Support Services (AEC TESS) IDIQ for Air Defense Test and Evaluation support. BMA is partnered with IDA Technology and Textron Overwatch in support of these services. Under this contract Team BMA provides assessments and evaluations of Air Defense Artillery (ADA) weapon systems development and performance during the weapon system lifecycle to include planning, coordinating, executing, and reporting on the independent performance and safety evaluations of all ADA systems in support of both standard acquisition and rapid initiatives. The types of systems include counter-target acquisition systems; fire control radars; munitions including rockets, missiles, and projectiles; launcher platforms; and mission command/integration systems. Work will be provided on-site at Fort Bliss, TX and Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD starting in October of 2017. The duration of the task order support services is for one year with one twelve-month option, and a second option nine-month period.
